Additional Notes to the last Summary

One of my players has pointed out some omissions in the long summary I posted yesterday. So here they are for the record:

-- While checking the orc shields after the ambush on their return to Castle Kairg, Merrill noted that one of the orcs had a fishlike odour. This same smell the party had encountered over a year ago, when dealing with a group of human bandits who were capturing spellcasters. (Previous magical analysis of a potion captured from those bandits a year ago, had revealed that the liquid was designed to put the drinker under the domination of whomever or whatever created it.) And now one of these random/wandering orcs smelled of the same potion.

-- During the return visit to Baron Mylark, the party heard a prophetic warning, recited to the baron by his young new (and somewhat nervous) court magician.

-- The warning was: "Beware the white stag, beware the dwarf, and beware the long stone."

-- This prophecy was apparently uttered by a seer (whom the party have not met).

-- The party also learned the reason that the baron's nervous court magician is so young. He was the apprentice of the former magician, who has recently gone missing.
