Remind me to never go into a mine or goblin caves again. The constant maze-like situation is frustrating. I hope it's not a common thing for there to be zombies and rats all around these monsters. There was nothing to be found in the areas we returned to but we finally managed to find something new, a room with a blue glow coming from a couple of candles. There was also a booby trapped chest full of coins. Tons of coins.

We started on our journey back but immediately found ourselves faced with the goblins again. They lured us into a group of zombies which at this point the group has managed more than plenty. The real threat was when One-Eye showed up. The goblin that can turn into a rat monster showing up again and howling like a beast.

Cynric seems to have gone completely mad. It's not the first time but I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing. We'll have to see. But I got plenty of bolts. Let's see if One-Eye can take another crossbow bolt to the eye.

- Eleanor.

The party debated for some time regarding what to do with the small chest full of coins. In the end they decided is was safer to have the half-ogre carry the chest under one arm, than it was to decant hundreds of metal coins and tens of pounds of weight into multiple backpacks. They also debated whether to withdraw immediately with their winnings or press on with their strongest frontline fighter reduced to either weapon OR shield, while he carried the chest one-handed. The time it took to make those decisions could well have been time that the goblins used to setup an ambush.
