------

Talni and Baris seemed disappointed in seeing me show up a bit.. unseemingly. It is understandable, but what am I supposed to do? Stay at the inn for a week after my friend has passed away. I needed time alone.

Ben was told by some old dwarf that the curse of Ganu was brought along with the shield we found. That might make some sense. Ganu is the family name of the people that owned the "cursed" silver mine and the patriarch was supposedly hanged for his crimes.

Titan's Hand is an enormous building the size of a large hill. There's some creepy woods between Bridgegate and Cribble where people say they have seen a skeletal figure.

An evil sorcerer working dark magic in the dark forest. Near the village of Orlane(?).

There is supposedly an attachment of knights in the town staying with the Duke. The Duke lives in a tower that lies on this side of the stone bridge. I doubt it's something we should get involved with.

Markus sent Ganelon and Methra with us. They seem as fun as any other of the pilgrims from that group.

Kevik the animal handler for the caravan wants to come along towards Fairhill to sell the pony.

We decided to go through the dark woods where we had found a wicked tree before. Eventually we came upon the tree through many needless discussions. Merrill, our latest companion, proved to be more than useful. Despite the esoteric mannerisms of his words he was more than capable of being agreeable, and more than prepared for combat.

We found the evil tree (or rather evil stump) and finally decided to confront it. Agis lifted up a bone which caused whatever magic remained to work once more. The bones animating and attacking our group. Luckily they were without weapons and such but they were still incredibly nimble and hard to hit.

In the end we learned two things. Merrill is exceptional at unarmed fighting and Renaud should not be trusted if you are in a close-quarters scuffle.

Next we'll certainly burn this wicked thing.
