Diary of Adam Aesalor - Session 69

The following is written in the elvish script:
Somehow, we all managed to get out that cave alive. They had an army of orcs in the cave after my wall of lightning come down. We have a Miao and Yvor. They were able to cut down most of the orcs without taking too much damage. Unfortunately, Davin being the over-confident Wizard that he is basically 24/7 decides to fly into the middle of the orc horde and falls into them after being hit. That was clearly a smart and well thought out decision. Mind you, I did not fare much better in the start, hitting Bert in the back with a lightning bolt on accident.
Miao asked Hemmu to relay some information in orcish about only being there for the chief. I think it’s a bit late for that, I’m afraid. Davin was able to get himself out but there was one small problem, both sides had filled up with archers. A lot of them. Yvor was able to cut down the right side and the left side stopped firing for some reason. I guess they decided between them that shooting was not in their best interests.
Finally, we reached the chief, who was with a Wizard, Hemmu flew into a mad rage after being hit by the chief and the wizard a lot. Miao stepped in between the wizard and chief and managed to take down the wizard [actually Hemmu cut down the wizard - Ed.]. And, after a lot of hits from a lot of people, the chief finally went down. Now it’s time to take the head and hopefully get our reward. We better get it considering what we had to go through.
